Welcome to the 11th episode of The Story Project podcast, I am your host Joanna Scott and I am so excited to finally introduce my friends from the Mint Door to you, Dr. Karen Tindall and Dr. Laura Schwindt.
Before I welcome them, let me tell you a little about who they are…
Drs. Laura Schwindt and Karen Tindall are retired dentists and life coaches. They share a passion for the total well-being of women dentists and their teams. Their collaboration created The Mint Door, a private members’ club for women doctors which focuses on well-being, wisdom, and wonderful connections. They are the founders of The Stepping Stones Practice Wellness Program and love transforming dental teams. If you are fortunate to connect with Laura and Karen, you will likely find them with their CFO’s. Chief Furry Officers - their dogs - O’Malley and Rascal!
Welcome Karen and Laura to the podcast! It’s so lovely to have you with us today. I always like starting these interviews with how we met. The first time I met Dr. Laura and Dr. Karen was at this past DeW Retreat with Anne Duffy and almost 100 other incredible women in Charlotte. I remember Laura and I were at the same table a couple of times, and she immediately put me at ease and we hit it off right away. We continued to run into each other and most recently was at the National Mobile and Teledentistry Conference in Vegas with Sonya Dunbar and Melissa Turner. Hanging out with you both at the cocktail reception was the highlight of that trip for me!
Dr. Karen Tindall and Laura Schwindt are passionate about helping women dentists live a life of total-well being in all the roles they play. One thing I love about the conversation of total well-being is that it’s applicable to all women, regardless of age or the season of life they’re in. There are so many healthy practices that I wish I knew would be important to my overall wellness in my twenties, that I only made a priority in my forties.
